KabirAbad

Kabirabad is a village in the south of Tehran. This village is home to a small number of Afghan immigrants who entered Iran illegally and live in difficult conditions. People who have left their troubled society hoping for a peaceful life and a better tomorrow. They have brought a ray of hope into their lives by using colours. My first encounter with this village and its people was on one of the summer days of 2016 when I went around Tehran for photography. Seeing the condition of their houses, poverty, disease and the polluted environment that these people create caused me to start this collection and it continued until the winter of 2018.
